Who We Are


Welcome to the Westerville Community United Church of Christ, where
  • We worship God in glad response to the grace and guidance we receive from our loving Creator.
  • We share in fellowship as disciples of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who shows us the way to helpfulness, understanding, and peace.
  • We experience the presence of the Holy Spirit through sharing our joys, lifting one another's burdens, and welcoming all of God's children.
  • We give of our time, talent, and treasure not out of obligation, but as our opportunity to make a difference in our community and the world.
  • Christian Education is understood as a life-long process, learning ever more of the wonders of God's Creation and of God's call to each of us through Scripture.
  • As a church, chartered in 1983, we are quite young, yet are part of the United Church of Christ which traces back to the landing of the Pilgrims in 1620, and to their belief in the freedom of each congregation.
